ONE
DEAD PLAYWRIGHT - THREE LIVE ACTORS!
“THE
COMPLETE WORKS OF
WILLIAM
SHAKESPEARE (abridged)”
July
13 – August 11, 2007
by
Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield
OnStage
Playhouse in
Daniel
Zisko, who directed and starred in last season’s critical success, “The
Graduate”, will helm this production. Serving as the show’s Producer
will be longtime OnStage Playhouse Board of Directors member, Bob
Christiansen.
Three
actors will cram all thirty-seven of William Shakespeare’s plays into ninety
minutes of pure comedy and have the Bard rolling in his grave.
“Othello” in rap, Shakespeare’s history plays as a football game and
“Hamlet” forward, backwards and sideways!
Brian
P. Evans, Nathan Plummer, and Desmond Hassing will share the task of skewering
Shakespeare’s works.
Brian comes straight off of our last show, “Cabaret”, to exercise his
funny bone, Nathan has another chance to demonstrate his proclivity for
creating many memorable characters, as he did in “The Graduate”. And
Desmond will be treading OnStage’s boards for the very first time.
Perfect
for everyone from 9-99, join OnStage Playhouse as Shakespeare’s genius is
sliced, diced and served up piping hot with a side of ridiculous.
Ticket
prices are $15.00 general admission, $13.00 students/seniors/military.
Special
rates are available for groups of ten or more by contacting Betsy Keller via
the theatre information listed below.
Curtain times are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. The
production is produced by special arrangement with Broadway Play Publishing.
