Lamb's Players Theatre Presents Their 10th Annual Production of An American Christmas

Turn-of-the-Century Feast and Celebration Plays December 16-29; Matinee Performances of Aunt Agatha's Christmas Tea Play December 20-24

Preparations are currently under way for Lamb's Players' 10th production of An American Christmas. Originally produced at National City's historic Granger Hall, An American Christmas moved to the renowned Hotel del Coronado when Lamb's Players opened a new resident theatre in Coronado in 1994. With many performances historically selling out long in advance, An American Christmas has joined Lamb's Players Festival of Christmas as a San Diego holiday tradition.

An American Christmas is a remarkable three-hour event that takes place in the hotel's beautiful Grand Ballroom. The year is 1901, and as you enter the ballroom, 26 versatile performers take you back to the turn of the century for a festive family celebration. It's an unforgettable evening filled with story, song, dance, and laughter - all woven around a five-course gourmet meal.

Tickets to An American Christmas are $95 - $130 for adults and $64 - $94 for children aged 5-12. The all-inclusive ticket includes the five-course meal, champagne toast, parking, tax, and gratuity. The doors to the Grand Ballroom open each night at 6:30 p.m. Seating is at round tables of eight. The attire is festive.

From the lavishly decorated Christmas tree at the Hotel del Coronado to the festive shops along Orange Avenue, Coronado is a feast for the eyes during the holidays. Lamb's Players Theatre is proud to be a cherished part of this very special community's celebration.
