The Musical Revue of a Generation Plays June 15 - July 29 
Boomers, the musical revue of a generation by Kerry Meads and Vanda Eggington, returns to Lamb's Players resident stage, where it will play June 15 through July 29 (Previews start June 6).
Boomers is one of many original theatre pieces created by Lamb's Players Theatre, and one of San Diego's most popular musical hits. Packed with four decades of music and memories, Boomers is a rollicking salute to the generation born between 1946 and 1964. The baby boom generation changed the music, the mindset, the entire culture of the nation. Hits of the boomer generation continue to top radio play lists, and Boomers is filled with some with of the best including Where the Boys Are, I Got You Babe, Blowin' in the Wind, Going to the Chapel, Yesterday, Light My Fire, We Shall Overcome, Stairway to Heaven, Respect, and many more. This summer is shaping up to be a "Meads-Eggington" summer at Lamb's Players Theatre, with productions of two musical hits written by the team: Boomers at the resident theatre in Coronado, and American Rhythm (July 13 - September 2) at the Lyceum Theatre in Horton Plaza. Boomers will be directed by Kerry Meads, with Musical Direction by Vanda Eggington, and Choreography by Pamela Turner. The cast includes Mike Buckley, Paul Eggington, Vanda Eggington, Doren Elias, Kathi Gibbs, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, and Christian Turner. Featured musicians will include Jasper Grant, Danny King, Jim Mooney, and Doug Roberts. Scenic Design is by Mike Buckley, Lighting Design by Nathan Peirson, Costume Design by Jeanne Reith Waterman, and Sound Design by Greg Campbell. Props are by Chrissy Vögele. Nick Cordileone will stage manage. Note: Boomers will replace The Survivor, which was originally scheduled for June and July. Boomers runs June 15 through July 29 on the Lamb's Players Theatre resident stage at 1142 Orange Ave. in Coronado.
