Fill ‘er up on Route 66!

El Cajon- CCT Musical Theater is proud to present Route 66, a musical revue by Roger Bean, running April 26 through May 5 at the East County Performing Arts Center in El Cajon.

Starting in Chicago this historic interstate runs through St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Flagstaff, San Bernardino, Pasadena and finally ends up in Los Angeles.  Our guides on this national tour are a group of talented Texaco station attendants who sing and dance their way down Route 66. Songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s include such favorites as “Little GTO”, “Fun, Fun, Fun”, “Dead Man’s Curve”, “On the Road Again”, “King of the Road” and of course the theme from Route 66.  Since its 2001 premiere, Route 66 has been a fantastic trip!

Tickets can be purchased by calling (619)588-0206 or (800)696-1929 or online at www.cctmusicaltheater.com.

Route 66 is part of the 2007 CCT season of shows, including West Side Story (July 12-28), and Annie Warbucks (October 4-14) at The East County Performing Arts Center. South Pacific (August 22- September 2) and our annual benefit Showplace of the Arts (August 28) will both be on the Midway Aircraft Carrier, a new and exciting venue for CCT.  Season and individual tickets for all productions are on sale now.
