His most accomplished roles have been Enjolras (Les Misérables) and Jay (Lost in Yonkers) in which he was nominated for Best Lead Actor. Collin is also a co-founder of Nonsense Productions, a local theater company devoted to bringing professional quality theater to San Diego with younger, aspiring actors. Nonsense Productions' premiere production "Full Circle" opened in March and was a huge hit, winning them great recognition all over North County and four Billie Awards, including Collin for best supporting actor. The company recently followed up with Luigi Pirandello's Nobel Prize winner "Six Characters in Search of an Author." McConnell plans on attending Cal Arts Collage and continuing a career in theater. He hopes to reach Broadway and one day be a part of an Off-Broadway tour.
